Media Studies Lesson 29th september

In todays lesson we looked at what you would expect to find in a horror movie such as darkness, storms, evil and weapons. I was then given the horror movie, jaws which i am to complete a short presentation on this in my own time and also a short presentation about horror movies in general.

Filming, downloading and editing

In our double lesson we learnt how to download video footage to the mac's and also had a go at editing the video by cutting, adding audio sounds and adding transitions between different shots. In the second hour of our lesson we started to film our preliminary task.

Media Studies Lesson 22nd september

In this lesson we were shown how to use the cameras for filming our preliminary task so we would be able to veiw playback of what we filmed, zoom in and out and also be shown how charging the video camera works. Each group was given a group name of a famous director and my group name is tarantino.

During todays lesson me and the rest of my group continued to storyboard our preliminary task.

My Second Media Studies Lesson

I have learnt all the camera shots, camera angles and camera movements needed for my preliminary task. I also started to plan my preliminary task by storyboarding and for each scene including the camera shot, angle and movement that me and my group will use.
